However, I really like the style and looks of the boot - so I went ahead and ordered. When I received the product, I really liked the look - the zipper on the back worked really well. When I wore the boots the first 2 times, they were pretty uncomfortable on the top of my foot b/c the leather was hard and it cut into my foot; however, by the third time I wore them, the boots broke in very nicely and I LOVE them - I wear them everywhere and have no issues!! It was just the initial break-in period that I had an issue with. Nice, but not all suedeBy mikiI bought these boots because I have been looking for some comfortable tall suede boots. These looked perfect. Well imagine my suprise when I opened the box and saw that I just paid over $100.00 for Fabric, not all suede. Nowhere is it described that the shaft is microsuede! Even on Rockports website it states full grain leather upper. WTF. I guess to them "Upper" means ankle and below because the suede cuts off there. Needless to say I am sending them back. Its a shame because they fit perfect and are really comfortable.
