I discovered for my feet to stay warm and dry I needed to wear boots that had a very thick sole so that my feet would be elevated from the cold surfaces. That's easy to do with snow boots, but harder to do with something a little more fashionable. These boots fit the bill. They are beautiful, comfortable, stylish and warm. They are the perfect transitional boot for everyday. I have worn these boots every day for about two months, they still look new and beautiful. They were pricey, perhaps ran a little small, calf width seemed normal.
